Because of our well-situated location near the MBTA we encourage employees to travel
by public transportation. Commuting by the MBTA has many environmental benefits such as a much lower emissions
per person mile traveled, having fewer cars on the road, and less traffic congestion and shorted overall commute
times. As part of our commitment to the environment and our employees, Ambit Press pays for 100% of the MBTA
commuting cost for employees who can take advantage of mass transit. Approximately 20% of our employees rely
on the MBTA for transportation to and from work. We also encourage employees to walk when possible. In total,
our efforts have resulted in 7 fewer cars traveling in and out of Cambridge which means 7 fewer cars that
will end up in a landfill!
